DEBORAH M. BARCLAY, NOTARY PUBLIC IN INGHAM COUNTY MICHIGAN
In my home-life, I have a wonderful husband who not only encouraged me to take this path by leaving my full-time job and focus on TKS, but who also supports me in everything I choose to do. Not only did he encourage me to start TKS, in 2021 he challenged me to pursue the dream of starting another company, Vault Keepers ~ Protecting Your Legacy One Will at a Time ~ , after I lost my father suddenly in 2018. I also have three amazing children (two adults and one in high school), four precious grandchildren, and three fur babies named Neve, Saffron and Indigo. Although TKS Mobile Notary (which stands for those three amazing children: Taylor, Kaleigh & Spencer) started out as a second job for me, in 2016 I left my full-time employment in order to pursue a full-time career as a Certified Signing Agent/Mobile Notary. The ability to not only serve others, but to hear their stories as well, is what makes this career such a passion for me. When I am not working or spending quality time with my family, my other passions including spending time at our cottage in Gladwin, MI and photography. As a full time wife and mother, I understand that not all documents can be signed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., nor can they always be done in the location of the individuals preparing the documents. This is why I am excited to bring notary public services to you. My hours vary as an independent contractor, specializing in early mornings appointments. PROCESS SERVING
TKS Mobile Notary also provides process serving for Summons and Complaints, Motions, Notice of Hearing, etc. Our company will provide in the initial agreement up to 3 attempts to service, photos/updates provided after each attempt. Our goal is to serve within one week of receipt, or have those 3 attempts made. Additionally, we will complete a Proof of Service with mailing to the Court and a copy to the Plaintiff and Defendant. If the FOC is involved, a copy will be mailed to them as well. TKS charges a flat fee of $75 for the above service, or we may provide an itemized invoice upon request. Please send us an email with the following information:
- What County did you file proceedings in?
- Is/will the Friend of the Court be involved?
- When does service need to be completed by?
- Do we have a service address (home/work/regular location of time spent)?
- Is this someone who will avoid service or be confrontational?
