Back in 2016 I was receiving many requests for “notarizing” an I9 Form. Trying to explain to individuals that a notary does not actually “notarize” this form created a lot of confusion when their potential employers were telling them something completely different. The information is still the same as the original article written, meaning, a notary does not notarize this document, they simply act as an authorized representative.
